J-LINK and USB to serial driver installation notes
Earlier when I setup the jlink, I found that I need to do the following to run the Somy demo program.
1. Power up Somy board first.
2. Then power up J-LINK
Since the Somy board is running, so I thought jlink is plug and play and so there is no need to install any driver. But just now I checked Windows installation manager and found that jlink is not installed successfully. I read the Keil manual which advises to install the driver under Keil's directory listed below.
c:/Keil/ARM/Seggar/USBdriver/x86
I found there is another driver x64. I forgot what is x64, but I think x86 is for Intel. Perhaps x64 is for AMD.
So I checked that J-LINK is successfully installed. Now I have more confidence to download a program.
